E-mail security solution

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Symantec Corp has announced an e-mail security and availability solution for enterprises. The company claims this solution reduces spam, stops viruses, automatically manages the lifecycle of older e-mails by archiving, and protects the customer's e-mail infrastructure.

Most enterprises today use e-mail as a primary communications and document sharing and management tool.

"Organisations need to look at e-mail as an end-to-end process. This holistic approach demands a comprehensive e-mail solution that enhances security and increases availability," says Mr Chris Christiansen, Vice-President of security products and services, IDC.
