Shriram Life gets operating licence from IRDA

Chennai , Sept. 15

SHRIRAM Life Insurance Co Ltd received the operating licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) on September 14.

The company is a joint venture between the Chennai-based Shriram group and Sanlamof South Africa.

Shriram Life Insurance is set to commence operations by the end of next month, says a press release from the company.
