Bank aid for housing scheme at Thrissur

KOCHI: In association with Social Centre - Housing of the Archdiocese of Thrissur, sanction orders for financing 1,000 houses were handed over to Rt Rev Dr Jacob Thumkuzhy, Arch Bishop of Thrissur by Mr Cheriyan Varkey, General Manger (Credit), of South Indian Bank Ltd.

In the presidential address, Arch Bishop appreciated the gesture of SIB. Mr V.P.Joseph, General Manager of the Bank, said that one of the objectives of the founding fathers of the bank was to save small businessmen from the clutches of money lenders.
