Indian ports must double box capacity

INDIAN ports will need to double their container handling capacity within the next five years if they want to keep up with the country's booming container trade estimated to grow at 15 per cent annually, according to a Bloomberg article. Last year the country's major eight ports handled a total of 3.8 million TEUs, the article adds.
