STATE Bank of India has reduced interest rates on various loans as part of Dasara-Deepavali festive offer.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, Dr V. Eswaran, Assistant General Manager and Regional Manager of Mangalore office, said that the offer that commenced on October 1 would be valid till November 15. As against the interest rate of 8 per cent on home loans with five years' repayment period, the loans will carry a floating rate of 7.25 per cent during the offer period.

The interest rate on car loans repayable in three years has been reduced from 8 per cent to 7 per cent.

Such concessions have been extended to two-wheeler and personal loans also, he said.
