Union Bank begins capital market ops

Mumbai , Oct. 18

UNION Bank of India is offering clearing bank operations of the BSE and the NSE for settlement of funds obligations under cash and forward and operations segments.

It has put in place infrastructure and started the activities of capital market cell at its MS Marg Branch, said a press release from the bank.

The bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr K. Cherian Varghese, and the Executive Director, Mr K. Rathnakar Hegde, inaugurated the clearing bank operations.
