The Hindu Business Line : Unit tariff for North-South corridor

NEW DELHI: The coordination committee of the international North-South transport corridor has accepted "in principle" to have a unit tariff per container per km on the entire route of the corridor.

The corridor envisages a faster, alternative route for transportation of goods from India and neighbouring countries to Russia and the CIS countries through Iran. It was also accepted that the corridor would be managed by a single operator, said an official release.
