2,072 SHGs financed in AP

HYDERABAD: Sree Anantha Grameena Bank, the Ananthapur-based regional rural bank sponsored by Syndicate Bank, has announced that it has financed 2,072 self-help groups (SHGs) on Wednesday to the tune of Rs 6.22 crore.

In a press release here, the bank said out of the 2,072 SHGs, 977 were from Kadiri, 695 from Kalyandurg and 400 from Ananthapur. The bank has so far disbursed loans to 16,155 SHGs amounting to Rs 44.02 crore, the release said.
