Terror threat

The threat of terrorism is one of the major problems being faced by India today; on a par with such problems as over-population, institutionalised corruption, illiteracy, environmental degradation, AIDS and deaths on the roads.

The terror threat is not about to go away soon. It calls for more competence, dedication, training, and transparent recruitment practices, less corruption and political interference, and professionalism and better coordination among various branches of the police forces.
