Jain Housing enters Kerala with two luxury apartment projects

THE Chennai-based Jain Housing and Constructions Ltd is entering the Kerala market with two luxury residential apartment projects in Kochi.

According to Mr Sandeep Mehta, Executive Director of the company, the total project cost of the two apartments, with a square feet of 2,70,000 will be to the tune of Rs 40 crore. Both the projects are scheduled to be completed in 18-20 months, he said.

The company will take up more projects in Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode within the next few years, he said, adding that there were also plans to launch villas in the second phase.

The two proposed super deluxe apartments, with 64 and 114 flats, will come up at Kathrikadavu and Panampilly Nagar in the city and the `bhoomi pooja' will be conducted on November 6.

The features of the apartments included luxurious outdoors and indoors, extensive gardens with special focus on landscapes, gym, club houses, swimming pool, children's park etc.

Jain Housing, which has built three million sq ft in 150 projects during the last 20 years, has achieved a turnover of Rs 200 crore. It registered a net profit of Rs 23 crore last year, he said.
