THE Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII) is organising an international seminar on rubber here during November 6-8, as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The RRII said around 600 people will participate in the seminar, during which over 100 papers will be presented. The participants include eminent scientists from France, China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Nigeria, the RRII said ion Friday.

The Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Mr E.V.K.S. Elangovan, will inaugurate the seminar. The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) Secretary General, Mr Hidde Smit, will deliver the keynote address.
