The Hindu Business Line : Affinity Express plans to expand Indian subsidiary

AFFINITY Express Inc, a global provider of graphic services, digitising, artwork creation and document creation has said that it will expand operations at its Indian subsidiary, Affinity Express India.

The company will add on a 1,000 more people at its Indian operations based at Hingewadi in Pune in the next 24-30 months, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Affinity Express Inc, Mr James Daleen, said here on Tuesday.

"We also plan to triple our sales in this period," Mr Daleen said, adding that an estimated $1 million will be pumped in for the expansion programme. Mr Daleen also announced the change in identity of the Indian subsidiary from C.V. Designers to Affinity Express India. "The new entity will help consolidate our business and target emerging markets in Asia," he said.

Affinity Express India with 550 people on board delivers graphic services out of India, supporting 2,000 clients and producing designs in more than thirty software packages for digitising, artwork and document creation services. Talking about the proposed expansion plans, the Executive Chairman and Vice-President, Mr Ram V. Ramachandran, said the company will take on board commercial and web graphic artists, designers and other related skills. "We are looking for tie-ups with large institutions across the country from where we can tap people with skills in specific areas of our business," he said.
