Sony unveils VAIO notebooks

New Delhi , Nov. 9

CONSUMER electronics major Sony on Wednesday announced its new range of VAIO notebooks targeted at users looking for business productivity and home entertainment capabilities.

"With the opportunity to watch movies, store music or pictures and share them with your family and friends, the VAIO expands the definition of a notebook to become the ultimate mobile entertainment device," Mr Mohit Parasher, General Manager - Sales and marketing, Sony India, said at a conference here.

The notebooks claim to have the slimmest and thinnest LCD and designed with an in-built camera. The models are priced between Rs 69,990 for VGN-FJ57GP model and Rs 1,22,900 for VGN-TX17GP/B model.
