HDFC Bank unveils `forex on swipe'

HDFC Bank has introduced "Forex on Swipe" for its credit and debit cardholders who wish to avail of foreign exchange while travelling abroad.

Travellers who want to avail of foreign exchange for their trips abroad can now do so by swiping their HDFC Bank credit/ debit cards on electronic data capture terminals at select branches of the bank. This facility, currently available in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Ko

According to a press release, Mr Shyamal Saxena, Vice-President and Head - Retail Liabilities, HDFC Bank said, "Easy availability of foreign exchange with just the swipe of a card, and the opportunity to avail of a credit period on the credit card, is a winning combination for all customers."
