CII meet on textiles at Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise a two-day conference on `Textiles - Emerging opportunities and the road ahead' on November 24 and 25 here.

The CII teamed up with the State Government to organise the conference that would focus on export opportunities, domestic retail boom, benchmarking against global best practices and core issues in textile industry.

It would also have session on `Textiles in Andhra Pradesh - the world of opportunities,' a CII press release said here on Tuesday.

Mr Kishore Biyani, Managing Director of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd, Capt. K.F. Pestonji, President of Cherma's group, Mr G. Punnaiah Chowdary, Managing Director of Krishnaganga Spinning Mills Ltd and President of Andhra Pradesh Cotton Association would address the conference.
