THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank of India Officers' Association, Kerala Circle (SBIOA-KC), has brought out a book, titled, `Core Made Easy.' Mr Shantha Raju, General Secretary, All India State Bank Officers' Federation (AISBOF), released the book here.

Compiled by Mr V. Muraleedharan, Assistant Treasurer of SBIOA-KC, the book is intended to help employees handle customers better in the context of the `problematic' migration to the core banking platform.

The hasty implementation of core banking has created unforeseen problems both to the employees and customers, said Mr M. Sreenath, General Secretary, and Mr S. Vinayachandran, President, of SBIO-KC.

The release of book comes close on the heels of extensive protests launched by the unions against core banking. A `Save SBI - Save Customers' campaign has also been mounted as part of the protests.
