`Internalise leadership principles'

MR Jagdish Khattar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Maruti Udyog Ltd, urged the students of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida, to internalise the principles of leadership.

He was the chief guest at the institute's annual convocation.

Mr Khattar said qualities such as concern for others, maintaining good relationship with customers, sincerity of purpose and commitment to the job at hand make for a good manager and a good human being.

He urged the young managers to contribute their skills and knowledge towards building a strong and vibrant India.

The BIMTECH Chairman, Mr J.N. Jaju, delivered the welcome address and presented diplomas to the successful students of the institute for both 2004 and 2005.
