Benjamin comes to India

MUMBAI: Germany's No. 1 toon character Benjamin has arrived in India. Ultra Movie Channel Ltd has launched Benjamin DVDs and VCDs along with a range of educational and fun merchandise with the cuddly elephant - Benjamin. Children can now not only watch the adventures of big, strong, smart and helpful Benjamin, but also enjoy his companionship through toys, games, puzzles, greeting cards, stationery and birthday party products.

"Benjamin is the friend every child would like to have. He is kind and helpful, with a strong sense of right and wrong. We have specially launched a wide range so that our young consumers can have Benjamin as a companion for every important occasion - fun, education or partying. The products are in line with international standards," said Mr Sushil Kumar Agrawal, Managing Director, Ultra Movies Channel Ltd.

The range is priced from Rs 50 to Rs 800 and is available across India in almost 4,000 retail outlets. Benjamin products can also be purchased from Ultra's Web site www.ultraindia.com.
