T-Bills auction fully subscribed

THE auctions of the 91-day and the 364-day treasury bills on Wednesday were fully subscribed.

The notified amount for the 91-day treasury bill was Rs 500 crore. The Reserve Bank of India received 47 competitive bids, amounting to Rs 2,228.9 crore. Of these, RBI accepted 19 bids. The cut-off price was Rs 98.59 (5.74 per cent YTM).

The partial allotment percentage amounted to 48.38 per cent from 12 bids. The weighted average price was Rs 98.59.

In case of the 364-day treasury bill, the notified amount was Rs 1,000 crore. RBI received 57 competitive bids, amounting to Rs 2,919.78 crore. Of these, the RBI accepted 28 bids. The cut-off price was Rs 94.41 (5.94 per cent YTM). The partial allotment percentage amounted to 77.91 per cent from 11 bids. The weighted average price was Rs 94.43
