SATYAM Computer Services Ltd has announced a partnership with Oracle Corporation, to enable companies in West Asia reap the benefits of their technological strategies.

In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Satyam said that the enterprise application software (EAS) is changing businesses in West Asia and Africa and the EAS market would continue to expand in the region over the next few years.

The company plans to open regional offices while developing Dubai as its key base. Satyam has been selected by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to implement an integrated front office solution based on Oracle applications and technology.

The company is in the process of deploying a workflow-driven automated solution to address the lifecycle of property and leasing processes at the Dubai Municipality, part of its `eGov' initiatives.
