McCormick spices in India

MCCORMICK, a global brand leader in spices, has launched its range of sterilised products, processed at its joint venture unit with AVT at nearby Vazhakulam, in the Indian market.

Apress release here said the high-quality variants available would be black pepper cracked, chilli crushed, chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. "The range is of excellent quality and free of impurities, adulterants and contaminants."

The spices processed at the AVT McCormick facility here are available in easy-to-use pet jars at leading retail outlets in the city.

The release said the facility in Kerala employed state-of-the-art machinery and methods that meet international standards.

The products are exported to over 35 countries across the globe, including the US, EU and Japan, it added.
