Auto dealers body plans short-term courses

Our Bureau

Pune , Nov. 29

A RAPIDLY growing domestic automobile market, newer technologies and the ever changing needs of the customers combined with a severe shortage of technically trained man power has resulted in the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) deciding to take a proactive role by designing short-term courses in sales, service and spare parts management.

The first of these courses of 3-6 months duration will be held in Pune where FADA, , representing over 5,000 dealers, has roped in Mr Kalyan Malshe of Balaji Management Consultants, to design the course curriculum, a statement said here.

In addition to designing the course material, the consultants will also help FADA in tying up with institutes in other cities to run the courses, the statement added.

In Pune, FADA has tied up with the city-based management and research institute, IndSearch, to conduct the classes.
