John Keells Holdings picks Lowe LDB Media as AOR

JOHN Keells Holdings Ltd, Sri Lanka's largest Corporate House, has mandated Lowe LDB Media, Sri Lanka, as agency of record for its entire business estimated at around Rs 20 crore.

The win was assisted through a pitch that involved the Lowe LDB Media team, working closely with Ms Sudha Natarajan, Executive Vice-President, Interactions, which services the ITC Ltd business in India.

The multi-agency pitch included finalists, MediaCom of Grey Worldwide and its India representative, Mr Jasmin Sohrabji, and Starcom.

John Keells Holdings is the biggest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

JKH has business-interests in financial services, banks, insurance, hotels (40 per cent of Sri Lanka's rooms), soft drinks, ice creams, super markets, processed food and plantations.

It also owns the franchise for international brands such as Pizza Hut, Jet Airways and DHL couriers amongst others.

Informed Mr Keith Martenstyn, Managing Director, Lowe LDB (Private) Ltd, "This is indeed a classic example of how the Lighthouse Cluster has worked together, to win an important piece of business.
