Oilseeds & Edible Oil Groundnut oil weakens further Our Bureau
Mumbai , Dec. 6 GROUNDNUT oil weakened further, while soya oil refined recovered marginally on the local edible oils market on Tuesday. Castorseed futures jumped up further in line with Gujarat markets. Among imported oils, refined soya oil was up Re 1 at Rs 351 per 10 kg. Crude soya oil was up Re 1 at Rs 332 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was down Re 1 at Rs 456 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil (Rajkot) loose was down Rs 2 at Rs 458 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was steady at Rs 373 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 322 per 10 kg. Castor seed February 2006 contract ended Rs 3 higher at Rs 1,519 per quintal on continued support. Sugar: Sugar spot prices weakened at the vashi wholesale market on fresh offerings amid increased inflows. Local demand from retailers was limited. Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 10 at Rs 1,813-1,850 a quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was lower Rs 14 at Rs 1,880-1,921 a quintal.
