World Phone launches economy plan in Bangalore

WORLD Phone Internet Services Pvt Lt on Thursday launched its World Phone Economy Plan in Bangalore.

The service has been introduced in other cities also and will enable consumers to call over 40 countries at Rs 2 per minute. Subscribers can access major countries in Europe, Asia and the US, besides Chile, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico and Taiwan. The monthly subscription is Rs 995, offering 500 minutes talk-time.

Mr Aditya Ahluwalia, Managing Director, World Phone, said its clients currently included leading corporates and the company will now target home users and small and medium businesses.

All calls will be routed through the Internet leveraging World Phone's high-speed data networks across the country.
