On the summit

THE Indian Business and Professional Council, IBPC, Dubai and Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) are jointly organizing the 'India-Gulf Partnership Summit' in Dubai from December 9-11.

The summit is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamadan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce Industry (DCCI). The summit has received the pivotal support from Indian Embassy in the UAE and the Consulate General of India in Dubai.

Mirza Al Sayegh, Honorary Patron of the IBPC, stated that the main theme of the summit is "Global Business Leadership"; with particular emphasis on "Regional Strategies for Global Development and Business Strategies for Regional Development". Senior officials from Dubai Logistics City, EMAAR, Dubiotech and Dubai Industrial City will be speaking at the summit. Other leading personalities from different sectors in UAE have been invited to address the different sessions of the summit.

IMC is bringing some 250 Indian industry delegates to attend the summit at Dubai.

Last year, the IMC and the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry jointly organised the `Asia-Pacific Business Summit' in Singapore.
