SAP to resell Mercury software

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: SAP, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, will now act as reseller of business technology optimisation software from Mercury Interactive Corporation.

Load testing software Mercury LoadRunner helps customers verify that SAP applications will meet business performance requirements before they "go live." It will be re-branded as "SAP LoadRunner by Mercury," said a release issued by the company. The software completely integrates with the Computer Centre Management System from SAP and allows customers to automate application load testing, says Mr Jay Larson, senior vice-president of worldwide field operations at Mercury.

This follows Mercury's announcement last May that it will deliver solutions for Enterprise Services Architecture (ESA) deployments.
