New Tally software

BANGALORE: Tally has launched a software, TallyAscent, for the Government.

This finance software will cater to the requirements of cities and municipal councils. It comprises accrual accounting, budgeting, purchase, inventory, asset management and payroll. It also supports fund-based accounting.

It meets the requirements of the coding structure, as recommended by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) and the guidelines of the National Municipal Accounting Manual, said a release issued by the company.

"This multi-lingual software will facilitate efficient governance, " said Mr Bharat Goenka, Founder and Managing Director, Tally Solutions.
