Olympus sets up liaison office

MUMBAI: Olympus Imaging Corporation has set up a liaison office in Mumbai. With intentions of giving marketing support and after sales services to its existing distributors, the leading camera manufacturer intends scaling up its operations in the country. At a press briefing, Mr Kazutaka Fukuda, general Manager, India, Liaison Office, Olympus Imaging Corporation said, "India is one of the most important and growing economies in the world and the camera currently has been growing at 25 per cent. For us, India is important market and our main focus is to capture the photo and consumer electro segment."
