Hyderabad , Dec. 20

GLOBE7 Inc, a New-Jersey-based technology company, and part of Northgate Technologies Ltd, has announced it has released its Beta-Edition 3.0 of the Globe7 Soft Phone system, a free downloadable software.

A phone number would be assigned to the downloaded soft phone, where the user can receive unlimited incoming calls from anywhere to his PC or laptop. The user can also make long distance calls to landline or mobile phone. The entire process is facilitated with one click from a contact list.

The Chief Executive Officer of Globe7 Inc, Mr Venkat Meenavalli, said: "the Globe7 Beta Edition 3.0 has enhanced features of instant messaging with presence built in to know whether the person at the other end of the communication is present online, at home or on a mobile phone. Major search engines can track the IP addresses of the end user."
