Broadband Marketing - Strategy BSNL offers free broadband to landline users in AP Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Dec. 20 AP Telecom (BSNL) has come up with a free two-month Data One Broadband connection for all its BSNL landline subscribers with Internet dial-up connections. After using the free connection for two months, the customers can opt for extension of connection on payment. This scheme is valid up to December 31, according to a BSNL statement. This is part of the Rs-250 plan with free download facilities and is without any registration, installation and monthly charges. The subscriber will have to purchase a modem or pay the rent with an appropriate security deposit, which is refundable after two months in case the customer opts to discontinue the service. Depending upon the nature of usage, BSNL offers four types of modems and these modems, apart from deposit, come with a provisional rental of Rs 100 a month. Alternatively, a customer can buy a modem of his choice. BSNL is offering its broadband service in 22 cities and towns in the State with plans that suit different requirements.
