BSNL specials for pre-paids

NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has announced special offers for pre-paid customers of its cellular service, including providing full talk-time on recharge coupon of Rs 1,000 up to December 31.In addition, recharge coupons of Rs 200 and Rs 3,000 would have 25 per cent more talk time, a BSNL release said here.

"New recharge coupon of Rs 5,000 will carry a talk-time of Rs 6,000," it said adding that despite the fierce competition in the telecom market and declining tariffs, the company has shown remarkable results during 2004-05. The overall revenue of the company jumped to Rs 36,090 crore, an increase of Rs 2,081 crore over the previous year. The overall profit recorded was Rs 10,183 crore.
