New Shipping Secy assumes charge

NEW DELHI: Mr A.K. Mohapatra on Wednesday assumed charge as the new Shipping Secretary.

Mr Mohapatra, an IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, was Secretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs before joining the Shipping Ministry. Besides, he was on the Board of Directors of many Central PSUs.
