JYPTI Ltd, the Vadodara-based irrigation and electric equipment company, is preparing a five-year growth plan to become a Rs 500-crore company in the next five years.
The company, which registered a turnover of Rs 80 crore last year, is targeting Rs 120 crore this financial year, according to Mr Rahul Amin, Chairman and Managing Director.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said the company was in the process of preparing the growth plan.
The company had won an order from Hindustan Construction Company (HCC)-Nagarjuna Construction Company, the joint venture partners that bagged the Phase-II of the Devadula project, for supply of electro-mechanical equipment.
The company had orders worth Rs 460 crore, including the Rs 258-crore order in Andhra Pradesh.
The Government was putting a great emphasis on strengthening infrastructure, including water and power infrastructure.
"We are able to offer water and power supply for a limited duration in a day. We should increase that to 24-hours day. This calls for huge investments for the development of water and power infrastructure in a big way," he said.
