Kochi , Jan. 15 GEOJIT Financial Services Ltd will open its all-women's branch in Mumbai on Monday. This will be the first all-women's branch in Mumbai and the second in the country, after Geojit's similar branch in Kochi, a press release from the company said. The branch is exclusively designed for women investors. It is located at Vile Parle and managed by an all-women team. The branch will be inaugurated by Ms Shikha Sharma, Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. Dr Uma Shashikant, Chief Knowledge Officer, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, will deliver a talk on `Women and Financial Planning.' "The concept of an exclusive branch for women evolved out of an article in The Hindu Business Line which described in the investment experiences of Tamil writer Ms Sivasankari," the release said. The second all-women branch is based on the experience from the Kochi branch, which provided a forum for women to learn and invest together.
