Our Bureau

New Delhi , Jan. 16

KLG Systel, a technology player in the power sector, has announced the deployment of Rs 21-crore technology solution for managing the transmission and distribution of power in Uttar Pradesh.

"The project has been underway for over two years and covers over nine lakh users across UP in Lucknow, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Allahabad," a KLG Systel release said here.

Commenting on the deployment, Mr Kumud Goel, Managing Director, KLG Systel said, "The KLG-UPPCL partnership has been successful with our solution helping the State lower its Aggregated Technical & Commercial (AT&C) losses by 12 per cent and improving UPPCL's top-line by bringing 19 per cent extra consumers under billing in the last two years. This would eventually result in saving over 50 MW in the coming year."
