33rd World Marketing Congress in Delhi

The aim is to improve economic tie-up within South Asia.

New Delhi , Jan. 20

THE 33rd World Marketing Congress on "The South Asian Market: Its Challenges and Opportunities" is being held in the Capital on January 20-21.

The aim of the conclave is to supplement the ongoing efforts to improve economic collaboration and cooperation within the South Asia region, including the SAARC countries.

The conclave is being organised by the Institute of Marketing and Management (IMM) and presided over by Dr A.R. Kidwai, Governor of Haryana and National President of IMM. Prominent speakers include Mr Shashank, former Foreign Secretary; Mr Rajiv K. Chander, Director, SAARC Secretariat; and Mr Hulas Chand Golchha, Vice-President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On the occasion, IMM will also give away awards to Mr Peter Mukerjea, Chief Executive, Star TV, and Mr Ravi Uppal, Managing Director, ABB India, for excellence in the marketing sphere.
