Infrastructure Irrigation projects: Finance Minister asks AP to send team to Delhi Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Jan. 23 THE Union Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, who has offered to help the Andhra Pradesh Government in completing the irrigation projects, has asked the State Government to send a team to New Delhi to discuss the issue further. Responding to a presentation made by a team, headed by Mr Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Major Irrigation, on the irrigation projects being taken up in the State, Mr Chidambaram said that a solution could be found to meet the financial needs. Talking to reporters later, the Finance Minister said he was impressed by the Government's initiative.
