Events Marketing - Customer Relationship Management LinuxAsia 2006 to be held in Delhi next month Our Bureau
New Delhi , Jan. 27 LINUX evangelists from industry, government and users would converge at Asia's premier Open Source conference and exposition - LinuxAsia 2006 - to be held in New Delhi between February 8-10. LinuxAsia 2006 would run the theme `The Customer Speaks' with sessions on topics including virus-free desktops, high-performance clusters, data and application migration, wireless computing, scalable storage, focusing on the best practices and collaboration. IT products and services majors including Oracle, Dell, Intel, HP, IBM, RedHat and CDAC would be showcasing their Linux-based solutions and service platforms at the event, according to a release here. Over 2,000 visitors and delegates from corporate, IT, government, academic and student communities are expected to participate at the convention. The inaugural keynote would be delivered by Dr Deepak Phatak of IIT, Mumbai, who is an educator and advisor to Indian and international governments and the industry. Others presenting views and chairing discussions include Mr Mark Shuttleworth, Linux Pioneer and guru. Speakers from telecom, Government, education, small and medium enterprise, financial services, IT and ITES would also form the various discussion panels at the different sessions.
