Our Bureau

Mumbai , Jan 31

FLIGHT operations at the Mumbai airport remained normal on Tuesday, although some employees of Airports Authority of India staged demonstrations on Tuesday.

Earlier, a union member had said the employees would resort to a strike once the Government officially announced the results of bid for modernisation of Mumbai and Delhi airports.

However, later in the evening, an AAI official said that the demonstrations had been called off and the unions are expected to meet on Wednesday to decide the future course of action.
