IA announces special fares

INDIAN Airlines has announced yet another special fare for travel in the domestic sectors. Called `Unchecked Fares', the new scheme is valid on 146 sectors.

The offer for a limited number of seats will be valid for travel till April 30.

According to a press release, the new scheme offers tickets at Rs 1,079 on the Hyderabad-Tirupati route and Rs 1,479 each for travel from Hyderabad to Bangalore, Chennai, Nagpur, Pune and Visakhapatnam.

For the Hyderabad-Mumbai sector, the ticket is priced Rs 1,979. For travel to Bhubaneshwar, Delhi and Kolkata, the fare is Rs 2,079.

However, Rs 221 is charged as passenger service fee.

Unlike other fares, the Unchecked Fares scheme will not get any Frequent Flyer points.
