Pilgrim management system from Bartronics

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Bartronics India Ltd, a Hyderabad-based barcode solutions provider, has announced that it has successfully installed a pilgrim management system at the Siddhi Vinayaka Temple in Mumbai.

This system streamlines the flow of pilgrims and minimises the waiting time in the queue. Pilgrims have to register their fingerprints and the barcode gives them the specific time for their visit. The images of pilgrims are also automatically captured and the tokens scanned at the entry point and fingerprint verified.

The company, according to statement, has been instrumental in installing such system at Tirupathi and Baba Baidyanath Mandir in Jharkhand.

It is considering the possibility of setting up similar systems at Vaishnodevi shrine in Jammu and Puri Jagannath temple in Orissa.
