Devi Seafoods bags award

VISAKHAPATNAM: Devi Seafoods Ltd has bagged the Marine Products Export Development Authority award for the best export performance for the third successive year, according to a press release issued by the company here on Tuesday.

The Directors of the company, Mr G. Sambasiva Rao, said in the release here that the company, with an annual turnover of over Rs 200 crore, was exporting shrimp and shrimp products to the US, Europe and Japan.

The company Managing Director, Mr P. Brahmanandam, received the award in Kolkata last week at the India International Seafood Fair.

The company has two modern shrimp processing factories, one at Singarayakonda in Prakasam district and the other at Tanuku in West Godavari.
