Rubber Spot rubber subdued Our Correspondent
Kottayam , Feb. 24 Spot rubber prices remained subdued on Friday. The international futures were in a cheerful mood but the domestic market refused to follow the trend as most of the traders were not confident enough to enhance their commitments. According to sources, the market weakened on buyer resistance though there was not any selling pressure from growers or dealers. While the remaining grades and latex declined amidst extremely low volumes, sheet rubber was flat at Rs 80 at Kottayam and Kochi on comparatively better demand.
