Siemens bags Rs 640-cr Qatar order

Mumbai, March 9

Siemens Ltd today said it has received an Rs 640-crore order from Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) for the development of power transmission network in and around Doha.

The order has been bagged by a consortium of the company and Siemens AG, Germany, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. Siemens Ltd will get Rs 530 crore of the order, which covers setting up of five power sub-stations and is required to be executed within a period of 19 months, it said.
