Glendale tea fetches record price

Kochi, March 16

STGFOP Clonal Special tea of Glendale Tea Estate, Nilgiris, fetched a record price of Rs 350 per kg at the leaf sale of Kochi tea auction, held on Wednesday. In all, 140 kg of this tea was sold at the auction, J. Thomas and Company said in a press release. This invoice was purchased by JFK International Ltd for export to Germany and was auctioned by J. Thomas and Co.
