Infosys Technologies Ltd said on Thursday that Banco Continental de Panama has selected universal banking solution, Finacle, to power its operations across Central America. The bank would be investing around $20 million over two years in the new banking solution which would replace the bank's legacy core-banking systems in Panama and other Central American countries.

The bank would also deploy Finacle CRM, e-banking and alert solutions, an Infosys release here said. Infosys said with the rollout of Finacle, the bank would be able to consolidate its technology and operations platforms across the region.
