Pepsi to woo AP movie buffs

After creating vibes in the Tamil Nadu market, Pepsi is now gearing up to tap into the Telugu movie fans with fun-filled contest that seeks to bring people closer to the tinsel world.

Announcing a new initiative in Andhra Pradesh, Mr Saurabh Gupta, Director Operations, Pepsi Foods, said "we are excited about the "Pepsi Thragandi, Hero Avvandi" (drink Pespsi, become here) contest that reiterates Pepsi's youthful positioning and the continuing effort to provide exciting opportunities for its consumers." During the 45-day contest period, Pepsi drinkers can take part by calling up after they collect Pepsi crowns. They get a chance to take part in the contest and based on their successful rendition, would be entitled to act alongside their popular hero Surya.
