APSFC ties up with LIC

The Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) has announced that it has entered into a strategic tie-up with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for distribution of life insurance products on corporate agency model. In a press release here on Friday, APSFC said the tie-up would enable it to become the corporate partner of LIC to provide insurance cover to its customers through the wide range of LIC products. APSFC, which has 25 branches covering all the districts of the State, has retained lead position among all SFCs in the country for the fourth year in succession by achieving highest sanctions, disbursements and recoveries. It has recorded a 30 per cent growth in net profit during the FY 2004-05, the release said.
