The Principal General Manager of Dakshina Kannada Telecom District, Mr T.N. Sudhindra Kumar, has said that the growth in nanotechnology and software development tools would drive the development of telecommunication technology. He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on `Present and forthcoming trends in telecommunication,' organised by the Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Engineers' Association here on Saturday. Mr Kumar said that wireless and mobile communication technologies are expected to rule the roost in future. The Working President of the association, Mr B. Padmanabha Rai, presided over the function. — Our Bureau
